Maulud Fatimah al-Zahra (AS) in Kaduna: Love for Fatimah al-Zahra cleanses human souls, says Sayyedah Maryam

By Abdullahi Isah Wasagu
On Thursday (26-3-2015) Sisters’ Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Kaduna Zone, Rasool al-Akram circle, organized birthday ceremony in series of such ceremonies across the city to honour of the Beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (SAWA), Sayyedha Fatimah al-Zahra (AS), the Pinnacle of women creation.

Guest speaker at the occasion, Sayyedah Maryam from Kano cited ahadith from reliable source which indicated the Holy Prophet’s love and Angels’ immeasurable respect for Fatima Zahra (AS), as well as her pure descent, divine status, which was transferred to her Progeny that uplifted them above other Allah’s creatures.

The creation of Fatimah al-Zahra (AS), she pointed out, superseded all creation, hence her superiority among women of the world, and even among men outside her fold. “The light of Fatimah (AS) is a direct light from Allah transferred unto her with which she illuminates the world and heavens. This is why all the Prophets of Allah wished they were part of the Ummah of Muhammad”.

Sayyedah Maryam further stated that, love for Fatimah al-Zahra is the key to all good things, path to salvation and pure water that cleanses human soul of sin. ”Her love and with her unsoiled Progeny is the path to salvation, guards against deviation and disharmony and key to all successes”, she added.

She lamented how little of Fatimah al-Zahra’s hadith were known among people, and how her God-given status was deliberately concealed.

She therefore called for unreserved loyalty to Fatimah (AS), her husband and descendants chosen by Allah right before creation, as the only path to harmony and eternal bliss.

Also speaking at the occasion, Ameer of Kaduna Shaikh Mukhtar Sahabi
while enumerating virtues associated with Fatimah al-Zahra, he described her as a role model for not only women, but the whole world.

At the close of the Maulud, gifts were given to people in the community as a mark of honour for Sayyedah Zahra, while Fuddiyyah School pupils entertained participants with colourful parade.
