Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raaji’oon. We hereby announce the passing away of Hajiya Hari Jamo (1924-2014), mother of Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. The death occurred on Monday, 25th of Muharram 1436 (17/11/14).
She died at the age of 93 (lunar calendar).
The funeral prayer is scheduled to take place on Tuesday the 18th November, 2014 at Sheikh Zakzaky’s residence in Gyallesu Quarters, Zaria, by 4.pm after Asr Prayer.
She survived by many children and grandchildren.
Sheikh Zakzaky is the fifth child of late Hajiya Hari Jamo.
