Students Also Join Quds Procession in Cities

Nigerian students from various tertiary institutions across the country converged in various locations today Friday 26th of Ramadan, 1437 AH which corresponds to 1st of July, 2016 to demand Freedom for the Oppressed people of Palestine

and also to demand Freedom for his eminence, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).

Organized by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria , the students carrying placards with different inscriptions depicting the purpose of the event peacefully marched in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

It would be recalled that the National Human Right Commission of Nigeria , NHRC had pledged to ensure justice was done over the brutal killings of the 34 people, which included 3 of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky’s biological children.
And also they pledge to ensure justice of the massacre of young and old, with hundreds of students
by the Nigerian Army, headed by Lt.Gen Yusuf Tukur Buratai.

Academic Forum strongly condemn the barbaric and wicked murder of the over 1000 innocent brothers and sisters of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria by the Nigerian Army . It is nearly seven months after the 12th, 13th and 14th December 2015 massacre in Zaria; the world awaits justice to be done. We demand the release of his eminence, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, his wife Zeenah Ibraheem and hundreds of our brothers Unconditionally.

We would continue to demand for justice , we would not relent in our quest for justice until such a time when the perpetrators of this cowardly act are brought to book.

Al-Quds day was founded by Ayatollah Rohollah Khomeini(Q.S) ; both a rallying cry of solidarity, and a sign of hope. It is designed to be taking place internationally, once in every last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Quds day is a day for the families wiped out, the children turned to orphans, and the women turned to widows. It is a day for Humanity!

Come out and stand with the oppressed .
