Addressing students in Qom, Sheikh Zakzaky (H) condoled them over the unfortunate martyrdom of Sayyidah Zahra (AS), daughter of holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWA). He described the event as one of the saddest event in the history of Islam.
He expressed satisfaction with the rate at which Muslims in Nigeria are accepting and coming to terms with the school of Ahlul Bayt (AS), and their true position in Islam through the Islamic Movement. “This is a special privilege Allah has bestowed on the Islamic Movement in Nigeria”, he said.
Sheikh Zakzaky (H) then called on the students to be more dedicated in their studies, as the Nigerian Muslims are in dire need of the kind of knowledge they are engaged in. He added that, lack of seriousness on the part of any student is a sabotage and betrayal of trust placed on him or her by the Imam of the Age (AF).
He pointed out that the Nigerian Muslims need people like them, with knowledge of Ahlul Bayt (AS) in their midst for guidance.
Sheikh Zakzaky (H) had earlier paid homage to the holy shrine of Sayyidah Fatimah Ma’asumah, sister to the sixth Imam in the ine of the Prophet’s Pure Progeny.
During a similar visit to the tomb of the sixth Imam of Ahlul Bayt, Imam Ridha (AS) in Mashad, Sheikh Zakzaky (H) met with the students of Al-Mustafa University. He addressed them on the need to pursue their education with full dedication and utmost perseverance.
