Imam Khamenei: West To Inevitably Collapse

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei lashed out at the West for its materialistic view of women.

He further stressed that this wrong approach, which has inflicted irreparable damage on family values, will lead to the West’s collapse. "The move that the West’s materialistic civilization has done towards women is a big and unforgiveable sin, the consequences of which are absolutely irreparable," Imam Khamenei said, addressing a gathering of poets held to mark the National Women’s on Wednesday the 15th of April 2013.

The Leader added that the West will inevitably witness collapse due to the devilish sexual rules being exercised in its society."The West is on the verge of demise and its gradual move towards final collapse has already started," he mentioned.

In parallel, His Eminence stated: "The Islamic and Quranic view on woman is the most practical and logical one.""Before the Almighty, there is no difference between men and women in terms of going through spiritual stages [of human perfection], and enjoyment of social and personal rights."

Ayatollah Khamenei also emphasized that women must be treated with respect and dignity.
