Az-Zahra(AS) Mourning Commemoration on the Third day

The Final of the 3-day Mourning commemoration of the martrydom of Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra(SA) took place at Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Zaria on Monday the 15th of April 2013.

The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky recounted the histroic event which culminated into her martyrdom. Sheikh completed the translation  from Fadak Sermon of Az-Zahra as people listened.

He continued to explain that when Az-Zahra ended her speech at the Palace of the Khalifah and  none could help her she retruned home in agony and leaving all matters to Allah. She took her matter to Allah almight and promised to never see any one of them until her death.

Az-Zahra fell sick as  she was injured terribly in the attack to her home. The perpetratror paid her a visit in her home whereupon she angrily turned her face away from them. Then, Fatimah (SA) reminded them of Prophet’s (SAWA) statement:" Anyone who makes Fatimah angry has made me angry and one who pleases her has pleased me." They confirmed that Prophet (SAWA) had said such a thing. Then, she called Allah (SWT) and angels to witness that: "You (Abubakr and Umar) had made me angry and never pleased me and I would certainly complain to the Prophet of you.

Upon hearing the words of Sayyidah, one of them said woe unto him he wished he was not alive to witness this. Alas, a man said to him ‘ do you cry because of what a woman said!!?’

Part of the will left by Sayyidah Fatimah to Imam’s Ali include not allowing her enemies to attend her funeral and her funeral should be in the dark to avoid them. When washing her body before enshrouding, Imam Ali noticed her rib has been broken.

The Leader of the Islamic Movement lamented on how people trie to hide that truth about the martrydom of Sayyidah Fatimah.

At the end of the lecture there was matam, ziayra and closing prayers by Sheikh Zakzaky.
