Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that the Zionist regimeˈs shocking brutality should raise conscience of people in the Islamic World.
Addressing hundreds of Basijis (volunteer forces), the Supreme Leader said the Zionist regimeˈs brutality and crimes in attacking people in Gaza Strip show savage nature of Zionist rulers.
Noting that more shameful and disgusting than this attack is the support of the US, UK and France for massacre of people in Gaza, Ayatollah Khamenei said Muslim states, especially Arab ones should rectify their approach towards the issue and help the innocent but brave people of Gaza and break the siege of the strip.
Relying on victorious resistance of the Gazan people, Muslim nations should know that resistance and perseverance are the sole way towards salvation and triumph over enemies of Islam, he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted that Zionistsˈ crimes in Gaza also reveals the true nature of the enemies of the Muslim World and those opposing the Islamic Republic in the international fora.
The Supreme Leader questioned: ˈHow can the arrogant powers, including the US, that support crimes of the savage Zionists in Gaza, claim to be advocates of human rights so shamelessly and consider themselves sntitled to judge about other nations?ˈ
Ayatollah Khamenei said by supporting and encouraging Zionist criminals, the US, UK and France, showed how far the enemies of Muslims are from morality and humanitarian principles.
The Supreme Leader noted that Arab and Muslim nations, too, did not have proper behavior towards Gaza events because some of them just paid lip services and others refused to verbally condemn the Zionists.
Ayatollah Khamenei said Muslim states and especially Arab states should untiedly help the oppressed Gazan people lift siege of the strip.
Ayatollah Khamenei praised the great bravery of people and youth in Gaza and said by Godˈs grace, the Gazans once again proved that through faith, perseverance and hard-working they can defeat their armed enemy which is backed by the arrogant powers.
The Paramount Leader said Gaza events showed that to overcome plots, hostilities and dastardly acts there is no way but powerful defense.
To remain invulnerable in the face of enemies, the Muslim World should show the power of its faith, determination and will while making scientific and technological progress.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the Iranian nation has learned a lesson from the Sacred Defense era and the youth, people and scientists of the country are making efforts for the progress and authority of their homeland.
Stressing unity of Muslim Ummah, Ayatollah Khamenei said any Muslim nation, including Iranians, should maintain their unity, which is another lesson from recent Gaza events.
