In a series of birth Day celebration of Imam Aliyu Ibn Abu Talib(a.s) being organized by youth forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Kaduna zone, on Saturday, 16th of April, 2016, Imam Mahadiy circle, marks it with spectacular glamour. The event took place at Fudiyya Dan Madami Premises, Hayin Rigasa Kaduna with multitude of brothers and sisters in attendance.
The guest speaker, Sayyid Sulaiman Lawal from Hayin Banki, Kawo Kaduna speaks on the glorious birth Day and place of the Imam(a.s). Sayyid Sulaiman narrated miraculous birth condition of Imam Ali(a.s) at Ka’abah. The divine order to Fatimah Bint Asad, mother of Imam Ali to reach the Ka’abah and divine crack of the wall of the Ka’abah. He further explained how Imam Ali(a.s) divinely talked to his mother while in a cradle.
The speaker enumerated the august lineage of Imam Ali(a.s) from Prophet Adam(a.s) passed down to the Prophet Muhammad(sawa) through Abu Talib(a.s) to Imam Ali. He buttressed his statement by citing Ahadith from Imam Baqir(a.s) and the seal of Prophet, Muhammad(sawa).
In addition, it was reported to have said that, the Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh & hf) have said, "Who ever wants to lead a life similar to my life; follow a path similar to my footnote; should resort to Imam Ali after my life". Added the speaker.
At the end of his speech, he commiserates with brothers and sisters over the recent Zaria pogrom, condemned the attack and the on-going public hearing being presided by the panel of Inquiry on the recent massacre, the repercussion on the massacre and self-confession by the army and the state Government for the notorious burial of 300+ Shi’ites members indiscriminately killed by the army.
In his remarks, the co-ordinator of the zone, Malam Aliyu Turmidhi commended the noble effort being made by the youth for the continuous organization of Imam Ali’s birth Day in various circles of the zone. He also called on them to remain in order of leadership of the movement, adding that, leadership, moving closer to God, fastings and night vigil are what is desperately needed by all brothers and sisters at this critical of time of oppression by the despotic Nigerian government.
Highlight of the event include parade by Fuduyya primary pupils, the youth forum and drama on the theme: "Only 7 Shi’ites were killed in Army-Shi’ites clash in Zaria. Distribution of prizes.
