Youth Forum under the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Bauchi zone has executed community development work in Shagari and Karofin Madaki communities, in which they cleared blocked drainages and also sanitized culverts.
The community work which was executed by many members of the Forum last Saturday, took them the whole day.
The community projects, according to the Forum, was in answering directive of Leader of the Islamic Movement His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky to engage in selfless service to the community.
During the work, people in the community expressed appreciation over the sanitary activity, and also prayed for the members.
Members of the Forum had earlier visited graveyard, where they prayed for repose of souls of two of their female members who died as a result of illness.
In a related development, an amalgamation of youth organizations of the Movement recently paid courtesy call to Christians in the neighborhood, where they disseminated message of Islam towards peaceful co-existence and religious harmony.
During the visit, the youths drew attention of the Christian faithful to the fact the Islam is a religion of peace, brought about by the most excellent personality imbued with character per excellence, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
As a result of this effort, which resulted to mutual understanding and cordial relationship, some Christians led by Pastor Ilah were reported to have played audio clip of Sheikh Zakzaky’s speech, at the end of which they expressed satisfaction with the Sheikh’s statements as man of God.
