Sequel to a meeting held by the legal team representing Sheikh Zakzaky, led by Femi Falana SAN; in which his son Muhammad Zakzaky was in attendance, the need to enlighten the public on the recent court order granting medical leave to the revered Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky becomes pertinent.
A Kaduna High Court has on Monday 5th August issued an order granting medical leave to the revered Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife Zeenah Ibraheem to seek medical attention in India with the supervision of the state.
The clause of supervision refers to the role of the state in observing the processes of the trip from the country to India, his subsequent stay there and return when discharged by the hospital.
The state is not empowered to make any decisions or take any actions as regards the trip as their role is limited to observation.
However, processes for the trip by the revered Sheikh have since commenced. We hereby seek the cooperation of all well wishers to achieve a successful outing.
