Saturday, 31/01/2015, an array of university dons and top ranking academicians converged in Yola to commemorate birthday of the Seal of the Prophets (SAWA) at the instance of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under His Eminence, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.
The event which took place at Coeasu Secretariat Hall, Federal College of Education Yola, drew participants from universities, colleges, secondary schools and other tertiary institutions.
Guest speaker, Professor. Dahiru Yahya expressed gratitude for the invitation to partake in share the joy and blessing associated with the occasion.
He spoke on the various historical perspectives in the life of the Holy Prophet, worthy of emulation.
Participants used the occasion to ask the Professor questions, which he graciously answered.
Dr. (Engr.) Dahiru Dasin, represented Dr. (Engr.) Ahmed Babayi from Mautech University, Yola. Professor Umar Bobbi, Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic who was unavoidably absent, sent in apologies.
At the end of the programme, Professor Dahiru Yahya visited Modibbo Zubairu Museum.
