The Opening lecture of 1436 Unity Week Programme was delivered by Professor Dahiru Yahaya of the Dept. of History Bayero University, Kano on Satruday the 12th of R/Awwal 1436 (3/1/14). He spoke on the "Dangers of Takfirism‘ – an ideology promoted by certain group which sees anybody who does not fit to thier ideology as a non-muslim or kafir.
