The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has this afternoon concluded a 3-day National Seminar in Yola the Adamawa state capital with a strongly worded statement drawing the World’s attention to the critical condition of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky in detention.
The Seminar, which held between 28th – 30th June 2019 with the theme; Understanding Zaria Massacre 2015: Dimensions, Challenges & the Culprits, was well attended by participants from far and near, including Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Kano and Katsina states. Other states with participants in attendance include Plateau, Gombe, Bauchi and the FCT.
The Sub-Themes of the Seminar were; Establishment Of Ideal Community For Human Development and Creating A Sound Critical Thought Based On The Teachings Of Sheikh Zakzaky & The Islamic Movement.
Topics discussed at the conference include Enhancing High Moral Standards, Etiquettes Of Social Media Use and many others on various topics by experienced speakers.
Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya Katsina was the Special Guest of Honour, who also delivered the closing speech. Earlier, Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya had made an open air preaching in Jimeta Yola centering on Forty Years of Struggle For The Establishment Of Social Justice By Sheikh Zakzaky and the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.
