THE PATH OF IMAM HUSAIN (AS) IS THE PATH THAT LEADS TO SALVATION.- Prof D Yahaya

Sunday 7th Muharram, 1438 (9/10/2016) was the 7th day Ashura session in Kano organized by the IMN under the leadership of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) with Prof Dahiru Yahya as the special guest speaker. 

In his speech Prof Dahiru Yahya  stressed that the path of Ahlul Bait (AS) is the path that leads to salvation, citing various sayings and teachings of Ahlul Bait (AS). He spoke on Imam Husain(AS) who he said has shown the humanity how to remain steadfast on the path of Jusitce which is Allah’s path and to raise up against all forms of oppression and injustice. He also explained how the teachings of Ahlul Bait (AS) has helped boast education.

During today’s session an elderly Igbo Man of about 120 years of age came to the Ashura session describing how his life was transformed with the history and teachings of Imam Husain (AS) and also wishing that  he would be alive to see the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky who has been detained by the Nigeria government. He also wished that he is young to be among the youths and helpers of the Islamic movement.
The prayer session continued after the Maghrib and Isha’I prayers.
