The 9th Quds Conference took place in Abuja on Saturday the 22nd of July 2023. It is organized to commemorate the 25th July 2014 Quds Day attack on a peaceful international Quds Day procession in Zaria where 34 people were killed including three sons of Sheikh Zakzkay- Sayyid Ahmad, Hameed da Mahmud, by Nigerian soldiers.
The conference took place at Ibro Hotel Wuse Zone 5 where different scholars and speakers delivered lectures on the event. Prof Chidi Odinkalu, Prof Isah Hassan Mshelgaro, Pastor Methosella Ndoma, Sheikh Zainulabideen Gaddafi from South Africa, and Dr Fatima Isma’il were the key speakers.
Other activities include display of the pictures of the martyrs, their legacies, and praises of songs in their memory
The closing speech was delivered by Malama Zeenah Ibraheem, while Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello gave a closing prayer.
