The 8th Qur’anic Memorisation of Fudiyyah School, Held in Kano.

The 8th graduation ceremony of Fudiyyah Qur’anic Memorisation School was held on Sunday, 2nd Rabiul Thani, 1440 (9/12/2018) in Kano where 118 pupil graduated from the School Kano run and managed by the Islamic Movement of Nigeria. The School Comprises of thee Sections: Nursery, Qur’anic Memorisation section and Primary section.

The 8th graduation ceremony was held at Filin Dalar Gyada, Kofar Mazugal, in Kano city with Shaikh AbdulHameed Bello as the Special guest of honor.

Special guests include Shaikh Badamasi Ya’quob, Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello and hosts of others as introduced by the Chief Hosts Shaikh Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki.
In his speech, the School Headmaster Mal Auwal Shamsu Abubakar expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the success of this year’s graduation where 118 have graduated with 33 of them having completed memorisation of the Holy Qur’an while 85 pupils completed Holy Quran recitation. The students are from Fudiyyah tahfiz, nursery and primary schools of Rijiyar Lemo, Rimin kebe, Kwana Hudu, Madobi, Yelwan Bunkure, Haye, and Gobirawa all in Kano state.
He further said The leadership of Shaikh Ibraheem Ya’quob Zakzazky (H) cannot be forgotten or overemphasized due to the fact that under his guidance the success recorded annually as well as the schools and students are gradually increasing in number.

Mallam Auwal further lamented Sheikh Zakzkay had always been the Guest speaker during the previous ceremonies, however due to his illegal detention by the Nigerian government of Buhari since the atrocities of 12th December, 2015, the Sheikh could not be possible for him to physically bless the occasion as usual.

He mentioned the effort and contributory role of Sheikh Muhammad Turi who established the Memorisation Section of the Fudiyyah School in Kano and oversaw its development.

Shaikh AbdulHameed Bello, the special guest of honor, in his speech expressed gratitude and happiness for seeing another set of grandaunts and memorisers of the holy Book. He called on the students to abide by the teachings of the holy Qur’an they have commit to memory adding that it is the foundation of the Call of Sheikh Zakzaky.
Shaikh AbdulHameed explained that, the graduation ceremony this year is held together with closing of this year’s Maulid celebrations in Kano Zone; the Month of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) which is spent with various activities by the movement as well as Muslims over the world in marking birth of the noble Prophet (SAWA).
Shaikh Sunusi AbdulKadir in his short speech reminded all believers to uphold the message conveyed during the Maulid celebrations in submission to the will of Almighty Allah and to practically exhibit the message in all actions as shown by Noble Prophet and Alhlul Bait (AS). He also encouraged all to stand firmly on free Zakzaky struggles to ensure his freedom from illegal detention.
Kawo area is the winner of this year’s Maulid Competition in Kano Zone, seconded by Kurna zone and Tudun Wada the third. The respective representatives of the areas who include Mal Ibraheem Badawa, Mal Mahmoud Mile 9 and Prof Bala Abdullahi collected trophies on behalf of the areas.
Colorful songs from Ittihadul Shu’arah were heard at the occasion and a colorful Maulud parade were carried out by pupil of Fudiyya Rijiyar Lemo, Kano. Certificates were handed over to the pupil

Words of encouragement were given by Shaikh Badamasi Ya’quob to the graduating students. Vote of Thanks address was delivered by chairman of Fudiyyah Schools Management Board, Kano, Mal Muhammad Isa Ahmad, while Shaikh Badamasi gave a closing speech marking end the graduation and final closing of Mauludin Nabiy celebrations.
