Sisters Organized Birth Day Celebration of Sayyidah Zahrah in Kaduna

Sisters’ Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Rasulul Akhram unit, Kaduna Zone, organized birth Day celebration of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet(pbuh & hf). The event took place on Tuesday 15th of March, 2016, at Ta’alim premises ground, Layin Kosai T/Wada Kaduna.

The event kicked up at about 4:30p.m. with songs of praise by Shu’ara of the Movement, Ziyarat and parade by Fudiyyah Primary school pupils in honour of Sayyidah Zahara’s birth Day. The guest speaker Malama Fatima Muhammad Sulaiman Sufi from Kaduna, spoke at length on different aspect of Sayyidah Zahara’s exemplary life. 



She began by describing Sayyida Zahara as a carbon copy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh & hf). No part of the Prophet’s nature of life left in resemblance by Sayyida Zaharah. She spent the whole of her life in nurturing and consoling the sadness of the holy Prophet that was inflicting on him by enemies of his time. This and many reasons as she narrated stood behind the reasons why she was called "Ummu Abeeha".



Malama Fatima, spoke on Sayyida Zahara’s  patience, night vigil, endurance, accountability, purity, kindness and her august interaction with her family members, father, husband and neighbours of her resident. She cited many instances where Sayyidah Zahara displayed characters which stood as a role model to women in general. She cited that, one day, a needy appeared before the holy Prophet in need of a penny or asset to support his life as a follower of the Holy Prophet(pbuh & hf). Upon hearing his condition and begging in honour of her father,  Sayyida Zaharah get up and give out her wedding gown(white veil) to the needy as a result of lacking any asset or penny to assist the needy.



Describing her unparalleled Ibadat(night vigil), Malama Fatima acknowledged that, light of Sayyidah Zahara used to be brighten the city of Madina at the mid-night when ever she set on for her night vigil.

Inhabitants of the city of Madina used to witness the shinning lustre occupying the precincts of her residents during her vigil.



According to Malama Fatima, "Tasbihuz Zahara" was giving to Sayyidah Zahara by the Holy Prophet in order to console her, as a result of how sometimes the two palms of her hand used to be swollen up after her heavy work of all her housing activities, her father’s and including that of her neighbours. 



Before rounding up her speech, she explained how Sayyidah Zaharah was born and brought up in house of Prophethood, married to the house of Imamah, gave birth to the part and genesis of Imamah and ending her life in the house of Imam Ali(a.s), yet, most astonishing and sad news was that, the Islamic World and some traditionits today had not witnessed traditions (Ahadith) from Sayyidah Zahara that sum up to about ten in number. She cited one of the Sunni traditionits, Suyudi, where he mentioned in his book that, "he had not come across Ahadith from Sayyidah that sum up to about ten in number". Malama Fatima attributed this astonishing situation of Hadith collection to the disregard of the Prophet’s progeny and intentional denial of the declaration of Wilayah by Banu Umayyah. 



At the end of her speech, she prayed over the continued illegal detention of the revered leader of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, his only wife and all hundreds of his followers in prison custody without trial.



In his comment, Malam Auwal in place of the zone’s coordinator, Malam Aliyu Turmidhi reminded brothers and sisters on dues launched  for #FreeZakzaky campaign. Adding that, the #FreeZakzaky campaign is a nation wide exercise which needs huge amount of funds to continue executing its duty assigned to the committee. 



The programme was attended by many brothers and sisters. Highlight of the event  include Cake cutting in honour of Sayyidah Zahara’s birth Day by Malama Fatima Zuru and the guest speaker Malama Fatima Muhammad Sulaiman Sufi.
