A Nigerian lady, Muallima Zainab Isa, whose husband and six children were martyred the same night during the infamous Zaria genocide, was among seven ladies worldwide chosen for honouring.
The honour was conferred on her, along with six other women at an international symposium on the World Heroines that held at the Imam Ali Arridha (AS) sacred place in Mashad, Iran last Monday.
Among those honoured is Rukhsan Keti, from Myanmar, who only recently converted to Islam but has already been able to translate the prayer masterpiece book Saheefah Sajjadiyyah.
Zainab Isa, had lost her husband, Abdullahi Abbas and six of their sons during the genocide of December 2015 in Zaria.
