Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya Katsian who defined Leadership  in two levels, that of princple (Tawheed) and other  on Satanic deviation, said leadership of the Prophets and messengers guide humanity with God’s permission, which had its foundation in unity of God (Tahweed)..

He attributed Success to  strict adherence to leadership,

He explained that enemies and deviants at all stages in history, attempted to eliminate the leadership of the time and all that it symbolized.

The scholar said, the ultimate aim was to eliminate the leadership and weaken the followers, and cited the instance of the plot to kill the Holy Prophet (S) which Imam Ali (AS) sacrificed his lfe by sleeping on his bed.

He further explained explained that, similar plots were made to kill leaders at various leaders in history such as  Sheikh Uthman Bn Fodiye and Imam Khoemeini (QS)  which failed.

He said, a leader faces two type of enemies- from within and outsidde, adding that this cut across the leaders and leadership.

Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya Katsina the holy Prophet of Islam suffered dual enmity, saying the Holy Prophet at various instances listed names of hypocrites within and offered them the opportunity to repent.

He charged followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky to cling and adhere strictly to the leadership so as to succeed.

He advised that anything that will hurt or displease the leader directly or indirectly should be avoided.

He said, followers of Sheikh Zakzaky should express gratitude to Allah for raising among them a Leader who brought pride to Islam when the religion was almost extinct. “By God’s grace he raised him from within the western educational institution, the legacy of the west”.

To every leader, he said, there are respected elders who assist in the dissemination of his message to the people, who should also be respected. “Respect to them is respect to the leader”.

He cited the example of Ayatullah Baheshti, one of the respected helpers and students of Imam Khoemini who was insulted and rejected at his hometown, Mashad, but Imam Khomeini advised him to persevere. Imam khomeini consoled him by saying if those who cheered the Imam himself and uttered words of praises, later turned against him with insult, that would not bother the Imam at all.

Upon the death of Ayatullah Baheshti, he said, multitude of people in his hometown came out to welcome his corpse. “It was after his death that they came to know his worth”.

He called on brothers to avoid causing more problems to Sheikh Zakzaky or the Da’awah.

He stated that, establishing a government is a secondary issue, but that the paramount objective was to seek the pleasure of Allah, saying power struggle within the fold should be avoided. “This is not our aim, our objective or mission. Our objective is to seek the pleasure of Allah; through the effort of Sheikh, Allah made us part of the mission. The issue of power struggle therefore should not arise at all”, he said.
