Friday last week, Ameer of Kano zone of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Muhammad Mahmud Turi paid a condolence visit to cellphone market at Farm Centre that was engulfed by inferno recently. Property of unquantifiable amount were lost.
Sheikh Turi was received by leaders of the market who led him round the market to ascertain the level of damage.
He extended condolence of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, calling on those who lost their property to see the event as a test of faith.
He prayed Allah to replace their property with the best in life, and called on government to assist the victims so as to cushion the effects.
The victims expressed appreciation with the visit, and a special prayer was held before departure.
