Sheikh Turi inspects new Hussainiyyah amidst Eid al-Ghadeer celebration + Pictures

Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Turi on Wednesday, 28the Zul Hijja, 1435 (22/10/2014) inspected Hussainiyyah constructed by Imam Hussain (AS) circle located in Tudunwada, in Kano zone of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).

A Brother, Alhaji Babangida Isyaku Radda donated a portion of land carved out of his residence for the construction of the Hussainiyyah for ease of activities and other programmes of the Circle.

Representative of the Circle, Malam Bashir Tudunwada and Engineer Bala Abdullahi led the guest of honour Sheikh Turi round the building, where he inspected sections of the Hussainiyyah and facilities within.


The new Hussaniyyah has prayer hall, reading room, conference hall and guest rooms.


 In his Ghadeer message, Sheikh Turi read out portion of Ghadeer Khum sermon by the Holy Prophet (S) while declaring Ameerul Mu’mineen (AS) as his successor and Master of all believers after him. 

He urged people to engage in further reading and objective research on the event of Ghadeer Khum and the Prophet’s sermon in relation expression of Wilayat.
The cleric used the occasion to remind people on the two – unit prayer and special supplication on the last day of the year, which can be found in the compendium book of prayer, Mafatihul Jinan.

He also urged people to observe the special supplications and other acts of worship on the first day of Muharram for blessing.

Alhaji Babangida Isyaku Radda, who donated the land expressed appreciation to Allah that granted him the spiritual will to do the good work, and for choosing him among students of Sheikh Zakzaky.
His father, Alhaji Isyaku also expressed happiness and pride for the good and rewarding deed which his son undertook.
 Dinner was organized and prayer conducted, as a mark of respect and honor for Eidel Ghadeer and the new Hussainiyyah.


The occasion was made more joyful with songs and poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet (S) and his successor Ameerul Mu’mineen (AS).
