According to Ahlul Bait News Agency (ABNA) – Ayatollah Ibraheem Zakzaky had a meeting with Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani’s representative while on a visit to Qom, Iran.
In the meeting, Ayatollah Sayyed Javad Shahrestani mentioned the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ibraheem Zakzaky’s children on Quds day this year and said: this was done by Arrogant Powers, by the hands of Wahabism and we congratulate you for your patience and resistance.
He then added: Your children’s martyrdom is a new beginning to spread Shia Islam all over Africa and by the grace of God it will spread in Africa more than ever.
He then pointing at the importance of promotion of Islam and teachings of Ahlul Bait said: According to narratives if a person is guided by us it is better than the sun shining upon us and we are hopeful that this trend continues in Nigeria.
The president of the Ahlul Bait World Assembly pointed at his trip to Africa 4 years ago and reminded that: In the trip I traveled to many countries like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and Senegal but due to domestic situation traveling to Nigeria was not possible.
Ayatollah Ibraheem Zakzaky too thanked Ayatollah Shahrestani’s sympathy with the victim’s of the Quds day in Nigeria.
