REFLECTION OVER THE LIFE OF IMAM KHOMENI

Shaikh Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki at the lecture on Friday at Fagge Jumma’at Mosque on 5th June, 2020 reflected on the revolutionary Leader Imam Ruhullah Al- Musawi khomeni who left his world thirty-nine years ago and whose Annual remembrance days called Imam’s Week is held between 1-4 June globally.

In one of the organized conference, ”International Conference of Ashura Movement in Imam Khomeini’s Thought” organized in Iran at the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini, Shaikh Sunusi on Monday June 1st, 2020 talked on “Social and Political reflections of Imam Husain’s movement in the history of Islam from Imam Khomeini point of view” which he shared with the audience at Fagge Mosque.
Shaikh Sunusi had shared with attendants his discussion in the lecture. “Imam Husain (AS) had practically shown us the impact of steadfastness on the path of Allah and eventually his life on the path of Allah (T) ie Martyrdom. Imam Khomeini had shown to us this practical pathway of spirituality, with examples which leads to the upliftment of the soul, perfection, trust and reliance of Allah alone. The trust and confidence in Allah as shown by the Imam was shown when a delegation from Iran pleaded with the Imam while in exile in Paris calling on Imam to compromise on the revolution due to mass killings of his followers by Shah, at which the Imam asked them to produce names of those who would run the affairs of the state after Shah.. Because of Imam’s faith in Allah and his determination, in few months, Shah’s government had crumbled. Don’t we have a lesson from this?
The concept of “Waliyatul Faqih” is another achievement of Imam Khomeini as well as Muslim Unit, though, Zionists and their agents are tirelessly working hoping to create further division within the Ummah. Sheikh Sanusi called upon on Muslim to rally around this Waliyatul Faqih and insha Allah, through it, Zionism and world oppressors shall be forgotten.
He further said Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has been on the path of Imam Husain (AS) and the path shown by Imam Khomeini. He concluded by calling for the immediate freedom of Shaikh Zakzaky.
