The IMN were not left out in denouncing the genocide of Rohingyah Muslims in Myanmar after Friday prayer at Fagge Friday Mosque, Kano where thousands attended the rally to express their sympathy with them.
Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki at the rally expressed the concern and sympathy of the IMN on the various atrocities the world is witnessing where Burmese government and its forces are clearing the Rohingyah Muslims through genocide, forcing survivors migrate to neighboring countries in their thousands with their properties burnt off.
The Rohingyah Muslims were shot dead in hundreds in addition to using various forms of arms- killed by been axed, slaughtered, hacked down by sticks, knife, women being raped and killed later, burning the Muslims alive are just a few of the atrocities explained Mal Sunusi. The IMN has also seen similar atrocities under the pretext of blocking of roads during the December 12th 2015, by the Nigerian army were to date about 1000 are missing and to date the government is holding its leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) despite the court ruling of his
unconditional release and paid compensation since December 2016.
The IMN unequivocally denounced the genocide, called for an end to these atrocities and also called for bringing the culprits to book.
