Protest in Kaduna, other places Calling for the Release of Sheikh’s Passport

Protest was staged in Kaduna on Friday the 8th of April calling for the release of the passports of Sheikh Zakzaky and wife. The protesters moved through Ahmadu Bello in the city center. They chant different slogans in support of the Leader. Similar protests were staged in places like Nasarawa, Zaria and other areas.

Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenah were denied their passports to enable them to seek medical attention abroad. They are suffering from health complications due to the deposit of metals and other dangerous material in their bodies from bullet shots.

The Leader and his wife were freed by court in Kaduna on 28th of July 2021 after over five years of long continuous detention. Since his release in July the Government of Nigeria denied them their international passports.
