Prof Dahiru Yahaya speaks at the closing of IVC programme in Yola

The Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has concluded its regional Islamic Vacational Course (IVC)  which was held at Yola.The AFIMN Yola Chapter hosted the 2- Day programme with  hundreds of participants from various places.

The Guest Speaker was the renown Professor of history Prof Dahiru Yahya , other special guests at the occasion includes Prof Bashir Aliyu,Dr shehu,Dr Chiroma Tahir , Engr Ibraheem Usman Shaikh Muhd Tukur Abdulhameed

MD TV Gotel Alh  Muhd El Yaqub marafan Daura, met with Prof Dahiru Yahya and the renown Professor was interviewed.

Theme of the programme was towards better understanding of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria which is at the same time the logo of the Academic Forum.

The speaker stressed on the importance of unity among the Ummah and the negative impact of Wahabi branded Islam which he said it’s only help in building terrorists and terrorism

Speakers and participants condemed the attack lunch by the Nigerian Army in last year December between 12th to 14th December 2015 against Shaikh Zakzaky and his followers. They ended by pressing for the unconditional release of the peaceful leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, his eminence, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky .
