Police Attack Free Zakzaky protest in Abuja, scores injured

The Nigerian Secuirty forces attacked free Zakzaky protest in Abuja on Tuesday the 9th of Jan 2018.The police started by firing teargas on the protesters. They later fired live bullets injuring many. Sheikh Qasim Umar Sokoto was serioulsy injured on his leg.

 Many were arrested including females. The peaceful protesters were demanding for the immediate release  of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky whose health kept deteriorating while in the prolong detention for two years. It could be recalled that the Sheikh was put in custody after his arrest with seroius injuries on his body. He lost his sight due to lack of medical attention from the gunshot in the eye.

More victims are shown below. One of them has bullet brushes on his body. The other was thrown off from atop Berger Bridge in Abuja  by Police after he was beaten up.
