Thousands joined the International Community at Fagge Jumma’at Mosque, Kano Nigeria on Friday the 20th of March, 2015 condemning the Saudi government’s atrocities and human right violation on its citizens and including some prominent Scholars.
The Rally was organized by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).
Participants at the rally, holding placards, expressed their bad feelings over the unjustified detention and imprisonment of thousands of Saudi Arabian Nationals just for not following the whims, wishes and dictates of the ruling monarchy.
Speaking during the gathering, Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Turi said the rally was organized to protest against detention and persecution of religious leaders, civil right activists as well as thousands individuals by Saudi Authority for exercising their civil rights. Prominent amongst those detained include Sheikh Nimr, Mikhlif Al Shammari, Abdullah Al-Hamid, Hasan Farhan Al Maliki etc.
Sheikh Turi called for the unconditional release of all Saudi political prisoners and the monarchy should stop all forms of injustice towards the freedom seekers in their own country.
