Parades to Commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) in Katsina

A parade was organised on Saturday the 21st of R/Auwal 1442 (7th of Nov 2020) marking the commemoration of the birth of the Best of Creatures Muhammad bn Abdullahi peace and blessing of Allah peace be upon him and his family members. The one day parade was participated by Members of Guards Unit of the Islamic Movement and students of Fudiyyah Schools in Katsina state. Other activities include taekwondo, karate and traditional activities.

Organisations participated include the Fityanul Islam of Nigeria, Fulani and Igbo traditional dancers, Yoruba Groups and Christian Groups in the state.

Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya Katsina received the parades and gave a short speech on the status of the holy Prophet in the sight of Allah. He condemned the France for blaspheming the holy prophet (SAWA). He said part of the reason for such include how islam is fast flourishing in the West.

He also warned Muslims to be watchful of plots by enemies of Islamic to divide Muslims and create discord among them especially how they target Nigeria to destabilize it through religion and ethnicity.

Certificates were given to groups which performed excellently during the parades.
