Malam Ma’aruf Umar, a brother among the victims of Police attack during Ashura Commemoration in Malumfashi town of Katsina state during the recent nationwide Ashura processions across various towns and villages in Nigeria, has attained martyrdom on Saturday 21/9/2019 in Katsina.
He attains martyrdom while on admission at Federal Medical Centre, Katsina, receiving medical treatment.
Malam Ma’aruf Umar was severely shot at leg with ammunition believed to have poisoned. He nursed the fatal gun injury for few days before he was called off.
May Allah accepts his martyrdom. May his gentle soul be rose among the martyrs of Karbala. May Allah gives the family the physical and mental strength to bear for the great loss!
His burial prayer is arranged to hold on Sunday by 11:00a.m. in Malumfashi town.
