No Christians Leader Jubilated Over Zaria Massacre- Gamawa

One of the Co-conveners of Free Zakzaky campaign commitee Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim Gamawa has described the hate speeches of Unpatrliotic Izala Islamic scholars that paved way for 2015 Zaria massacre and continued persecution of followers of Islamic Movement when ever they are conducting their religious gathering.

Alhaji Muhammad Gamawa who was speaking at the gathering of Free Zakzaky Daily sit-out at the Unity Fountain Abuja on Friday,said no single Christian leader jubilated when Nigerian Army exra-judicially killed over 1000 innocent Shi’a Muslims in Zaria instead they condemned the atrocities in the strongest terms and symphatised with the family’s victims

He said the atrocities of Zaria massacre was a blessing to the Islamic Movement because Millions of Nigerians are understanding the activities of Sheikh Zakzaky’s are for peaceful co-existence not violence become the way they conduct themselves in an orderly manner, adding that majority of Nigerian Police who are being deployed to attack Free Zakzaky peaceful protest have understood that they are innocent victims of injustice

He further suggested the need to organise workshop and sensitization programs for those coming to Abuja to participate at the Daily Free Zakzaky peaceful protest in order to understand the culture and norms of Abuja residents, saying that there was a need for unity and understanding among all followers of Islamic Movement in order to overcome it’s challenges being instigated by Izala Muslims Group

It would be recalled on 12-14 December 2015 Nigerian Army attacked Islamic Movement Center Hussainiyya Bakiyatullah on the pretext of road blockade to Chief of Army staff Tukur Burutai which resulted to the death of over 1000 innocent Shi’a Muslims,Sheikh Zakzaky’s 3 sons,nephewa,elder sister were also were killed at his resident in Gyallesu area in Zaria since then the Islamic scholar was arrested with his wife Malama Zenatudden after sustaining various degrees of gun injuries and his health condition is deteriorating on daily basis

On 2-December -2016 Justice Gaberiel Kolawale of Federal High Court Abuja had declared the continue detention of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zenatudden as unlawful, unconstitutional and order their release within 45 days with the compensation of 50 Millions to the couple and provided accommodation for them in every state of his choice in the Federation but the Government refused to comply with the court order
