It was a momentous gathering during the academic year of Al-Mustapha International University, Qom, Iran, when an African female student from Nigeria was presented with the best student of the year award from Africa.
Among other students from other continents, Asiya Shaheed Adam Ali, daughter of a martyrs from Nigeria emerged as the only female student presented with the prestigious award for the year at a grand ceremony attended by thousands of people.
Ayatollah Nasir Makarem Shirazi graced the occasion, where he presented a speech.
