Nigerian Government still detaining Shaikh Zakzaky 4 months on.

By Khalid Idris
The Nigerian Government is still detaining the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky despite the fact that its soldiers have severely injured him as well as his wife Malama Zeenatuddeen after killing hundreds of his followers in cold blood before they reduced his house into rubble.

Thanks to the gallantry of our brothers who flocked various streets in many cities to protest the killings. It is only in Kaduna state that the police opened fire on the protesters and martyred scores of them (13 people). But one thing is certain, that we will never stop until we emerge victorious, until we follow every means legally to seek redress.

Islamic Movement in Nigeria is not and will never be a violent organisation and no amount of threats and intimidation will make us forsake our belief.

Since after Zaria Massacre by Nigerian Army under the administration of General Muhammad Buhari, Nigerian government continued with detention of  our leader Shaikh Zakzaky, his wife Malama Zeenatudden (ummush shuhada) and hundreds of his followers who are illegally in detention for more than 4 month.

Our stand: our slogan: our demand: our ambition: our concerns:,,,,,,,,,,,,,, unconditional release Zakzaky now now.
