The annual Maulid celebrations worldwide in commemoration of the birthday of the holy Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his pure progeny begin on the 12th of R/Auwal annually,
The day was marked yesterday Sunday the 12th of R/Auwal 1446 with processions, gatherings, and lectures.
the 12th to 17th of R/Auwal called Unity Week as set aside by the Founder of the Islamic Revolution late Imam Khomeini (QS).
The aim is to bring the Muslim Ummah together who hold different Schools of Thought, especially Sunni and Shia.
The Unity Week programme has already kicked up in various places in Nigeria and Africa led by the Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).
