The celebration of the birthday Celebration of the Prophet Muhammad peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny began on Saturday the 12th of R/Auwal 1444 in accordance with general Calendar in Nigeria.
Colorful events took place in various places across Nigeria including peaceful matchings, lectures and some traditional activities. This marks the beginningg of the lectures on the Unity of the Islamic Ummah popularly known as Unity Week – between 12 and 17 of R/Auwal as marked by late Imam Khomeini (QS). Lectures has already commenced in various places where scholars and thinkers are invited to deliver a lecture towards unity of the Islamic nation.
