A massive protest calling for the immediate and unconditional release of the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, His Eminence Shaikh Ibraheem El Zakzaky (H) was held Friday 14th Zul Hijjah 1437 (16th September, 2016) after Friday prayers in Kano city Nigeria.
The protest march conducted under the leadership of Shaikh Adamu Tsoho followed some major street of Kano central Business district that include Murtala Muhammad way, Ibrahim Taiwo and ended at Kano Silver jubilee square.
The protesters carrying various placards extending eidul Adha messages and the call for the unconditional release of Shaikh Zakzaky (H) who since the Zaria 12th-14th December, 2015 massacre has been held by the Nigerian government without any charge and whose health condition has been worsening from gun shots and other categories of injuries amongst which is the loss of an eye and the remaining eye condition worsening with no proper medical attention.
At the end of the protest march Shaikh Adamu Tsoho had an interview with media that include AIT reiterating the demand for the immediate and unconditional release of Shaikh Ibraheem El Zakzaky (H)
