Martyrs’ Foundation condemns atrocities in Yemen, UN’s feet dragging

By Ibrahim Usman
Martyrs’ Foundation (Mu’assatu Shuhada) of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has strongly condemned the collective atrocities by western nations, using Saudi Arabia as a front, and the cold feet dragging by the United Nations in the humanitarian crisis.
This was contained in a strongly worded letter to the UK-based Islamic Human Rights Commission by Dr. Abdullahi Danladi on behalf of the Foundation on Tuesday.

The Foundation described as sad and crime against humanity, a situation where innocent people including women and children are being killed in cold blood when, “The United Nations in its usual manner is dragging cold feet on the humanitarian crisis caused by the Zionist agents in Saudi Arabia”, a situation which it said, calls for total denunciation.

It further observed that, by using the Saudi-led coalition as a smokescreen, the so-called western nations are tactfully destroying the Islamic nations after having their way in Muslim countries such as Iraq, Egypt and Libya. “Now they have focused their evil action on people of Syria and Yemen”, it added.

The Martyrs’ Foundation therefore expressed unreserved solidarity with the people of Yemen and other oppressed people of the world, and strongly condemned Saudi-led aggression in Yemen.
