Kaduna Markaz Attack: Civil Rights Congress condoles Islamic Movement, pledges to ensure justice/Pictures

Chairman of the Civil Rights Congress (CRC), Comrade Shehu Sani has condoled the Islamic Movement over the May 2, 2015 attack on members by the Nigerian military.

Nigerian soldiers led by Captain Sene on that fate Monday evening stormed the Marka, which also serves as residence of the Ameer Kaduna zone of the Islamic Movement, killed one Brother and injured four others.

 

Comrade Shehu Sani, who is also a Senator-elect, was at the Kaduna Markaz on Monday with his entourage to offer condolence over the unfortunate incidence.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and wished the injured quick recovery.

Ameer of the Kaduna zone of the Islamic Movement, Malam Mukhtar Sahabi thanked Comrade Shehu Sani for his continued concern over the plight of the Islamic Movement, and hoped for continued understanding.

Speaking to pressmen shortly after the visit, Comrade Shehu Sani said, “I would use my capacity as a senator immediately I assume office and human rights activists to ensure justice is done. We cannot allow a situation whereby drunken soldiers will shoot people at will. That has to stop”.

He demanded full report of the incident, to serve as basis for his agitation.
