JULY 25TH 2014 MASSACRE: 100 DAYS STILL WAITING FOR JUSTICE

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. All glory and adoration is to Allah for creating us as human beings with all the beauties and attributes. We send our salutation to the best of all creations, Mustafa Muhammad (S), Members of his Households (a.s) and all those who follow their guidance till the end of time.

Today marks 100 days since the wicked and gruesome murder of our brothers and sisters by the Nigerian military on Friday 25th July, 2014 during a peaceful procession to mark the international Quds day in Zaria. International Quds day is a day (the last Friday of Ramadan) set aside by the late revolutionary and revivalist of Islamic and social reforms, Imam Ruhullah Al-Musawi Al-Khomeini (Q.S) in 1979 in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and oppressed people of the world. Ever since then, this has become a household name across the world. In Nigeria, the Islamic Movement under the dynamic leadership and guidance of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) has been peacefully answering that call for the past 32 years. So, it is rather surprising and hardy for the government to accused members of the movement of armed engagement and changing narrative of successful story of 32 years of commitment, passionate sacrifice and show of love and solidarity to the long suffering of the people of Palestine.

The July 25th massacre of young and innocent people, including the three biological children of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) by the authority has further exposed the general attitude and misdirection of present regime of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. This heartless and insensitive killing of these young and creative Nigerians is rather unfortunate and calls for sober reflection on what leadership have become in this land of lost opportunities by the dogs of Zionism. The essence of every government is to protect and defend the life, honour and properties of the people. Even the classical secularist social contract theoretician of the state like, Thomas Hobbes, John Hocke and Jean Jackque Russian, opined that, the state exist to protect the people against domination, injustice, killing, invasion and destruction. That people surrender their powers and privileges to selected few to protect and defend them against domination, injustice and dead. It is therefore, surprising that in Nigeria, government and its military can turn against its citizen. So we can conclude that we don’t have a state in actuality, but an enclave of animals? The July 25th inhuman killing of young Nigerians has exposed Nigerian authority as the real source of insecurity which for the past four (4) years, has being using pseudo names like Boko Haram, Taliban etc, to perpetrate all sorts of criminality against the people they are suppose to protect.

The recent amnesty International report that indicted the military of crime against humanity has confirmed what the leader of the Islamic Movement, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky  (H), has been saying all these years that the spate of insurgence and killings in the country were perpetrated by the military and other security agencies on the instructions of their Zionist masters in united kingdom, United State of America, France and usurper and illegal state of Israel.

Nowhere in the world is acceptable for government to surrender the lives, honour, resources and the future of their society and people to outsiders (Zionist Masters in United Kingdom, United State of America, France, and Usurper and Illegal State of Israel), like what we are having in Nigeria. These so called leaders maimed, destroyed, killed and mortgaged their society to these irresponsible Zionist instruments for a pot of porridges. These are people who neither share in our aspiration nor contribute to our development and progress as people and as a country.

While in other societies, leaders and government are not only committed in safe guarding, protecting and defending the lives and honour of their citizens, but young people are jealously guided and mentored, because they represent the present and future of such society, such societies ensure they harness and utilize the energy, creativity, passion, and restlessness of the youth in the development of their society. Unfortunately in this land of lost opportunities called Nigeria, it is the state and her security apparatus that are busy extinguishing the light and the future of the young people like what happened in Zaria on July 25th, 2014.

100 days after the July 25th, 2014 massacred, the world is demanding justice to Zaria 34 young innocent and committed Nigerians. The world is still shock with the July 25th, 2014 massacre by the Nigerian authority acting on the instruction of the Zionist of the Israelis state. It is equally surprising that, as Nigerian and global humanity continue to send their commiseration with the leadership and members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria yet, 100 days after the massacre the government is still insensitively reluctant in bringing the perpetrators of this cowardly and ungodly act to justice.

The insensitivity of the government is very glaring for the fact that instead of bringing those murderers to justice, they want to shed more blood of innocent members of the movement. It is obvious, the Zionist control Nigerian government and other terrorist cells across the country, as it is now planning a false flag operation to attack the Islamic movement in Nigeria, specifically, the leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), so also members of his movement are also subjected to daily harassment and intimidation by the Nigerian military and security agencies across the various hopeless checking point across the countrys.

We are therefore forced to ask some basic questions: when are the perpetrators of the 25th July, 2014 massacre in Zaria going to be brought to justice and punished by the government since the world is aware of their names as expose by the leader of Islamic movement in Nigeria Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H)? What is the meaning of further harassment and false flags against the leadership and members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria? After killing of our leader’s children and 31 members of the movement, are the military and the Nigerian government not tired of shedding blood of innocent people? Why is the government doing the bidding of Zionist instruments in the country that are held bent on destroying Nigerian collective humanity?

Events of the 25th July, 2014 no doubt have reawakened the sleeping Muslims and humanity against the injustice and senseless killings of innocent people by their government on the instructions of their Zionist masters. The show of affection, solidarity, commiseration, and love by the people across different strata of the society shows unity of human voices against the carnage, destruction and killing of innocent people. Equally the July 25th, 2014 massacre by the Nigerian military in their uniform and vehicles has finally defined the myth of who the original Boko Haram are in Nigeria. Nigerians and the world saw those killing citizens and attributing it to Boko Haram. It was a definitive confirmation of what Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) has long been pointing out.

As we commemorate the 100 days since our brothers and sisters were massacred, we take solace in Allah, for this great sacrifice. This victory of blood over military aggression was indeed achieved with the martyrdom of these committed members of the Islamic Movement particularly the pious children (Shahid Ahmad, Hamid and Mahmud) of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).They have shown the way for reviving Islam and humanity against oppressors and oppression in every land at every time.

We are indeed grateful to Allah that the 100 days commemoration is coming at a time when we are remembering another significant victory and sacrifice for the revival and protection of Islamic ethos and practices by Imam Hussain (a.s), his family and companions at Karbala. Ashura is equally significant in Islam and we are indeed grateful to Allah for such victory and sacrifice of self, family and companions for the sake of Allah and Islam. Without such sacrifice no doubt there wouldn’t have been Islam and true teachings of Islam today.

Imam Hussain (a.s) , his family members and companions and now our 34 brothers and sister that were martyred on July 25th, 2014 have challenges us and shown us the only way to victory -“SACRIFICE” on the path of Allah and Islam. We are indeed praying and hoping to join them very soon on this path. This is path to victory Insha Allah, and with their blood so far spilled, the religion of Allah will be establish just like it was establish during the life time of Shehu Usman Bn Fodiyo.

On behalf of the member of the Academic forum of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, we commiserate with our Leader, Father and Mentor Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) on martyrdom of his grandfather, Imam Hussain (a.s), family and companions on the 10th of Muharram, 61AH at Karbala. We equally commiserate with him on the 100 days anniversary of the ungodly and wicked massacre of his three children -Ahmad, Hamid and Mahmud and 31 members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. We are indeed proud of their sacrifice, commitment and passion for Islam and your calling.

We are not only sending our 100 percent allegiance, but we are praying and hoping may our blood, sweat and tears be the water that will be used to wet the tree and growth of Islam in this land of lost opportunity. We will remain steadfast and committed in defending and extending the calling of our leader and mentor Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), just like the family and companions of Imam Hussain (a.s) stood by him to the end at Karbala. We are still demanding and waiting justice for our brothers and sisters killed by the Nigerian Military on that fateful day, of July 25th, 2014.

Academic forum strongly condemn this barbaric and wicked murder of the three children and the followers of his Eminence Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) on the 25th July, 2014 by the Nigerian Military.

We also sincerely condole our teacher, mentor, spiritual leader and guidance Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) and Malama Zeenah Ibraheem over this unfortunate event.
