Islamic Movement Joins Humanity in Rejoicing the Birthday Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA)

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) ijoined the rest of the Muslim World in rejoicing the birthday of the Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAWA) in various cities in Nigeria with series of programs. Today, Wednesday the 17th Rabiul Auwal 1439 (6/12/2017) rallies were held by thousands of people.

In Bauchi city of Nigeria, well wishers came out colorfully dressed carrying banners, flowers, gift items matched along major streets in the city  at around 10am . The Maulid procession, led by Sheikh Ahmad Yashi, passed different major streets of the city, Bakin Kura Street, Kofar Wunti, Kobi Street, Emirs Palace and ending at Ajiya Friday Mosque. The participants in the procession chanted different eloquent songs expressing happiness and glory Allah (T) for His favour upon Muslims, being among the lovers and followers of the Noble Prophet Muhammad and his Ahlul Bait (AS), and being amongst the followers of Shaikh Zakzaky (H) who preaches towards upholding the Path of Noble Prophet (SAWA) and his Ahlul Bait (AS) in all undertakings. They also called for the unconditional release of Shaikh Zakzaky (H) who for more than 2 years has been held by the government despite a High court order.
In a closing speech Shaikh Ahmad Yashi thanked Allah (T) for conducting a peaceful rally by members of Islamic Movement who are always known for peace. Today it’s the Annual Maulid in which it has been narrated that Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) was born 12th and another narrations says he was born on 17th of Rabiul Auwal. Thus, the revolutionary leader Ayatullah Ruhullah Khomeni (QS) declared 12-17 Rabiul Auwal as Unity week that is celebrated worldwide.
In Nigeria this year, Shaikh Ahmad expressed the Unity week organized by the Islamic Movement started with rallies in different cities of the country on Friday 12th Rabiul Auwal and continued with lectures and presentations from speakers of different Schools of Thought of the different lessons of the life our Noble Prophet (SAWA), and his Ahlul Bait (AS) in Bauchi city at the National Level, which will continue at different levels of the society.
After his speech a closing prayer from Shaikh Ahmad Yashi marked the end of the Maulid celebration.
