Islamic Movement begins Unity Week Programme with Maulid Procession in Kano

The annual Unity week (12th-17th Rabiul Auwal of the Hijirah calender) marked by Muslim world wide has commencde in Nigeria by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the Leadership of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) with a peaceful matches and rallies in different cities in Nigeria by Brothers and Sisters of the Islamic Movement heralding the coming of the birth Month of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).

The Match in Kano  took up around 9am local time on Friday the 1st of Dec 2017 by thounsands of people colorfully dressed, holding flags, banners and posters. They moved towards major streets within Kano city,as onlookers expressed their happiness on the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday. There were songs on maulid by the celebrants while presenting gift items along the way. aThere was also press release being destributed to people as the mathcing moved on.
At the end of the matching, Mal Yusuf Abdullah gave a brief speech thanking Allah (T) for seeing another Maulud Session, while expressing his salutations to our Noble Prophet and his Ahlul Bait (AS). He reiterated the great task before Muslims in getting united irrespective of School of Thought and ideology. He called towards following the noble path of our Prophet (SAWA) and his Ahlul Bait (AS), and upholding justice and fighting against all form of injustice and oppression.
He called again for the unconditional release of the leader of 
Islamic Movement in Nigeria  Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) who, for the past two years, has been unjustfully detained by the Nigerian government despite a Federal high court judgment for his immediate and unconditional release who was arrested after sustaining serious injuries during Zaria December 2015 massacre where about 1000 of his followers were killed by the Nigerain soldiers.  The Nigerian government is now  attempting to cover up all physical evidences of their tyranny and of recent is a plan to unearth the Mando Mass grave where over 347 people were burried.
A closing prayer marked the end of the peaceful and colorful matching.  Unity week programs that is going to be marked nationwide from December 1st, 2017.
