Internet Forum visits Shaikh Zakzaky

Internet Forum a technical social media communication groups under the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has recently paid courtesy visit on His Eminence Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky at his Gyellesu residence in Zaria.

 The delegation led by Coordinator of the Internet Forum, Ibrahim Daurawa narrated to Shaikh Zakzaky workings and objectives of the Internet Forum, which he pointed out is the dissemination of information about the Movement and other internet activities.

Shaikh Zakzaky demanded the Forum to create a website to show case their activities and other information dissemination about the Islamic Movement.

He explained how the Holy Messenger of Allah used various medium of his time to disseminate Islamic message such the Ukaz market place and other common assembly of the Arabs. “Now that we have the internet, it can be used to disseminate the message as did the Holy Prophet during his time”.

His Eminence further observed how Nigerians focused on Facebook above other social networks, and lamented the lack of code of ethics by many users.

He advised that the Facebook of the Internet Forum be left open, but derogatory comments by readers be deleted saying, “positive posting is what is needed, which will benefit people”.

Responding to a blueprint presented by leader of the delegation on a plan to utilize the latest real-time video coverage of Arba’een Trek, Shaikh Zakzaky said there was a plan to use helicopter for the coverage, but however all avenues will be explored to ensure adequate coverage of the event next year.

The Leader expressed gratitude for the visit and commended the Forum for its initiatives. He also blessed the Forum and its members.

Responding, Coordinator of the Internet Forum, Ibrahim Daurawa thanked His Eminence for the warm reception and assured to put into practice all the advice given by Shaikh Zakzaky.
