It has been seven years since December 2015 when the Nigerian Army attacked the Husainiyah Baqiyyatullah, Zakzaky's residence in Gyallesu, and Darul Rahma. They inhumanely massacred over one thousand innocent people including 97 women out of which 23 were heavily pregnant, 548 men, 193 children, and 39 families were entirely wiped out.

 The army committed heinous crimes that included setting fire to buildings, burning people alive, shooting infants at close range, and dumping their bodies in mass graves.
Muhammad Rabiu Shuaib was among the martyred. He was born to Hajiya Ummu Kulthum and Malam Abdussalam on 6th November 1986 in Kaduna state.
He attended Alheri Nursery and primary school. He completed his secondary school at the Sardauna Memorial College Kaduna, and he went on to study Mathematics at the Kaduna Polytechnics where he was about to bag Higher National Diploma at his final session when he was martyred on 13th December, 2015.
He was active in the activities of the movement, especially when it comes to working with the Academic Forum.
