The representative of the SupremeLeader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Al-Husainy has paid a visit of honor to Nigerian Arba'een camp in Iraq.

The visit was made on Thursday the 16th of Sept. 2022. On his arrival, Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya meets with Hujjatul Islam Abdullahi Zango.
In another development, Sheikh Yaqoub Yayaha Katsina the representative of brothers and sisters in Katsina, Nigeria, has met with same Arba'een mourners at their camp today Friday with a view to continuing with symbolic march to the shrine of Imam Hussein (A.S) in the city of Karbala.
Arbaeen is a symbolic trek observed at the end of the forty days mourning period of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of the Prophet of Islam.
Each year, millions of Ahlul Bayt followers from across the globe flock to Karbala from Najab in present day of Iraq while marching in commemoration of Imam Hussein (AS). A long trek that the progeny of the holy Prophet were dragged in chain and barefooted in the scorching son of the plain of Karbala after the massacre of Imam Hussein and his faithful companions 61 years after Hijrah.
