On Wednesday the  27th,07,2022 Members of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria commemorated Mbormi Massacre where Sheikh Attahhiru his followers were killed by British colonialists in 1903 (27-07-1903). 

Sheikh Attahiru was killed in Mbormi town in the present Bajoga Local Government area, Gombe state. This marks 119 years since the incidence.

In commemoration of Mbormi Massacre yesterday members of the AFIM Gombe Visits Mbormi cemetery where Sultan Attahiru and massive number of his followers are brutally killed by British colonial masters in 1903.
