Imam Week 2022: Students organised lectures and Visit to Hospitals in Kaduna, Katsina and Yobe PDF Print E-mail

In the continuation of Imam Week programme, members of the Academic Forum in Kaduna, Katisna and Yobe states organised lectures in Memoy of Imam Khoemini in addition to Visits to hospitals wherey they donated blood and relief  items to patients . 

Members of the the Academic Forum of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, Kaduna chapter, have yesterday Friday the  3/6/2022, visited two General Hospitals in Kaduna as part of programs marking the demise anniversary of Rohullah Imam Khomeini (Q.S).
First, Kawo General Hospital was visited where detergent items such as Hypo, soap, Medicated soap, Klin, and other items such as Milk, tissue papers, among others.
Consequently, Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital T/Wada was visited. At both the hospitals, Female and Pediatric wards were toured round by the visitors and useful items were shared.
While addressing both the Nurses on the purpose of the visit which is in memory of the Late Imam Khomeini (Q.S), brother Sedeeq Abubakar explained that:
"Obviously, we are faithful followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky who are studying at various higher institutions in Kaduna and its environs. The purpose of this visit is to strengthening the existing cordial relation among us, and to deepen our mutual understanding. We are all human beings, one nation, living in same environment.
"The gesture is also part of the legacies left by the Late Imam Khomein who we annually commemorate his demise on a day like this 3rd of June. We annually visit patients in hospitals, prison inmates, less privileged such as orphanage houses, physically and metally challenged individuals; hearing and visually impaired".
Admitted patients at both the hospitals expressed thankfulness for the humanitarian gestures, in addition to the good-will messages echoed to the masses in general in memory of the Late Imam (Q.S).
The beneficiaries also prayed for the Islamic movement and its revered leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H). They praised Sheikh Zakzaky's efforts of postering good human relations among Nigerians regardless of religion or ethnicity.
The awareness day is one of the annual programmes duly held by members of AFIMN across all chapters and zones of the movement, where press release containing message of the awareness Day on the impact of the Imam's life history and struggle are shared to all and sundry.

KATSINA VISIT

In addition to free blood donation to the needy at the NBTS ward of Katsina General Hospital yesterday 31st May, 2022, by members of Academic Forum of the Islamic movement in Nigeria (AFIMN), Katsina chapter, lectures on different topics about Imam Khomeini's life and struggle were delivered today 1st of June.
The gathering took place at centre for brothers and sisters, Katsina, with participants drawn from various institutions.
The first lecture was delivered in English by sister Zahra'u A. Zamsarf who spoke on, 'Imam Khomeini's Ideas and Viwpoint on Womens' Participation in Social Activism". Brother Mahadiy eventually made a remarks in Hausa Language.
The second topic, 'A Glimpse at Khomeini's Mystical Thought and its Impact on his Social and Political Life Style' who brother Abdullahi Galadima presented.
Also among speakers include sister Zainab Yusha'u who presented a topic on, 'Students and Scholars Behind Khomeini's Islamic Revolution: Lessons for Nigeria'.
Evntually, an interactive session was chaired among the participants on the lives of members of Academic Forum in various Universities across the nation, the problems they face and solutions to them ware discoursed.
