One of the victims of Police brutality on members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria leads by Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky during the usual peaceful processions taking place in the capital of Nigeria, Abuja, has attained martyrdom.

Shaheed Hassan Abubakar Aliyu attained martyrdom on Thursday 22/4/2021 in Abuja, after nursing the fatal wounds he sustained as a resul of Police shooting. It was reported to have said that, his conditions deteriorated while on sick bed which led to his martyrdom.

He was shoot by armed Policemen on 14/4/2021 around Barnex Plaza, Abuja, during a procession calling for Buhari government to respect the law and free Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky from unjust detention as had since ordered by a federal court.

Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, a 70-year old personality and spiritual leader of millions of followers is still confined unjustly behind bars after being attacked by armed soldiers in his residence in 2015, killing over a thousand of his followers and injured his severely along his wife
