Armed Security Personnel again fired at peaceful Free Zakzaky protesters in Abuja PDF Print E-mail

Even as the Innocent leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky clocks 4 years in illegal detention in contempt of Court orders at the hand of Nigerian securities, yet, the spirited brothers on Monday 25th of Nov. 2019, came out tirelessly calling for justice over the detained leader despites the Court ruling that had since acquitted him of any crime.

Protests are regularly caryying out daily protest at different areas of the capital territory, demanding for the Sheikh's unconditional release, his wife and all those still lingering at the hands of the authorities since the infamous 2015 Zaria massacre.

The Monday protest kicked off from Sky Memorial with multitudes of supporters of the revered leader chanting slogans for his release. While the protest is peacefully moving heading to Bega after some metres away from the starting spot, armed Police Force opened fire at the protesters and later started shelling teargas.

The protesters, being armless, defied the violent attack and marched to the termination point as planned.

It is a known fact to all and sundry of this nation that, Islamic Movement in Nigeria throughout these 4 years of supressing from the hand of Nigerian government, it has always been peaceful in pursuance of justice over this gross injutice on the Movement and its leader.

The protesters are reiterating their voice, "no amount of opression and repression can make us to loose our focus and principles of this Movement. All we need is free our leader as he had since been vindicated by Court."
