We know that in a Democratic system of government , the Judiciary is an indispensable organ of that government. It is believed that any society without a judiciary system is bound to face chaos and anarchy , hence, in a country where the judiciary is weak or not independent, its people might suffer injustice and all kinds of intimidations and rights violations.

With violations of court rulings and abuse of Judicial system of a country, can people enjoy the dividends of democracy?

When a government promotes improper use of Legal procedure for perverse reasons, concerned people that care about the well being of citizens term that government as an bias and oppressive.

It is known in the world that , the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria , Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky was brutally attacked by the Nigerian army in his house (12-12-2015), killed his children , thousands of his followers, his sister, his nephew and he was also fatally shot at close range but God wished to keep him alive. His wife Zeenah Ibraheem was also shot severally and dragged.

Shaikh Zakzaky and his wife have been detained illegally since December 2015 pogrom following a scripted and stage managed traffic obstruction which the army use and acted brutally and massacred many Nigerians in Zaria.

Despite the court ruling declaring the detention of Shaikh Zakzaky as unlawful, the government of Muhammadu Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) deliberately disregards the ruling of its own courts and this demonstrates a flagrant and dangerous contempt for the rule of law.

After all these barbarism against Shaikh Zakzaky and his wife , those holding him illegally, shamelessly arraigned him before a High Court sitting in Kaduna. They were surprisingly forcibly moved from their DSS detention center in Abuja under the cover of darkness and brought to Kaduna for a "case".
The humble Shaikh had refused being served but the authorities forcibly arraigned him notwithstanding.

Dear General Muhammadu Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), the world will forever remember that Shaikh Zakzaky was attacked by the Nigerian Army between 12th and 14th of December, 2015 in which over one thousand people were massacred including three of his sons under your government.

It is sad that the status quo of our country under your government present is underscored by the fact that the country is trapped in vicious angle of an unethical stratum of misgovernance.

How can a country that claimed to be "democratic" attack resource people in that country and murdered over a thousand within 24 hours including women and children, dumped hundreds in mass graves, burned many to death including a 70 years old Hajia Binta (elder sister of Shaikh Zakzaky)? This is the worst atrocity ever in the history of Nigeria.

Save some shame if you have any left to free Zakzaky and his wife. Perpetrators of Zaria Massacre must be brought to book.
