Sheikh Muhammad Turi Visits Khalifa Al-Maghili Sharif Abbas PDF Print E-mail

By Muhammad Isah.-   As part of display of love and affection to the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and his pure Progeny (AS) this Maulud period, Shaikh Muhammad Mahmud Turi accompanied by other members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria from Kano, paid a courtesy visit to Khalifa of Muhammad bin Abdul kareem Al-Maghili,

Sharif Hamza who warmly received the visiting team said, members of the Islamic Movement representative have established the visit annually for the past seven years in Rab’iul Auwwal, which said was a testimony to their deep-rooted love and affection for the Prophet (SAWA) and his Ahlu Bait (AS).

Earlier in his remarks, Sheikh Turi said, the purpose of the visit was informed by the Islamic injunction of showing love and affection for Prophet Muhammadl (SAWA) and Ahlul Bait (AS), as illustrated and propagated by the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sayyed Ibraheem Zakzaky (H). He called for unity of the Muslim Ummah as enjoined  by the Noble Prophet (SAWA) and demonstrated by Sayyed Zakzaky (H) through the establishment of Unity Week in every month of Rabi’ul Awwal.

 Sheikh Turi used the forum as demanded of him, to comment on the present predicament that has befallen the Ummah, which he attributed to complete deviation from the path of Allah and His Noble Prophet. He pointed out that, the only way out was complete return to the path of Allah and His Prophet through sincererity of purpose. According to him, this is the struggle and path taken by Sayyed Zakzaky over the years through the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. He called on Muslims to answer to this call to actualize the noble objective.

On his part khalifa Sharif Abbas expressed appreciation for the visit, and commended the unique effort of effort of Sayyed Zakzaky (H) in setting the pace towards actualizing unity the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria.

In their separate remarks, Sharif Dallami, Sharif Munzali and Sharif Baita commended the efforts of the Islamic Movement in uniting the Muslim Ummah as well as its steadfast on the path and teachings of the Holy Prophet and his pure Progeny.  Prayers were offered after the visit.
